17 years ago, two creatives, Damian and Kev, got jack of big agency life. Too slow, too expensive, too many egos.
So, they quit their jobs, borrowed a Kombi from Damo’s mum and started driving to clients’ offices to ask for their toughest brief yet. Cleansed of all adland BS, they deftly tackled every brief from the comfort of the Kombi, inviting the client back into the van at the end of the day to present their ideas. Cosy.
Called ‘Creatives on the Forefront’, this nimble and collaborative approach was a new way to solve business problems by providing direct access to creative people. And it’s never been more relevant; channels change, consumer behaviour changes, the world changes, but creativity remains the solution. And it’s essential to growth.
