The Ash Globe

Greanpeace hero image of snow globe filled with ash

For the first time in Sydney, it snowed at Christmas…ash.

As it rained down across towns and cities across the east coast and skies were choked with an apocalyptic looking smoke haze from raging bushfires, we wanted to send our leaders a message – this is not normal, this is a climate emergency.

Partnering with Greenpeace, we created a very special Christmas gift – The Ash Globe. A dark twist on the traditional snow globe made with ash we collected ourselves from the fires around Sydney.

Globes were then delivered to celebrities and influencers like Tim Minchin, Hugh Jackman, Lisa Wilkinson and Russel Crowe who then shared them on their social channels – igniting the debate and encouraging people to sign the Greenpeace petition to declare a climate emergency.
